Beautiful relaxing place to take the family.. very clean and well maintained by the council. Generous car park so easy to get even when it is busy! There is a Cafe which serves delicious food and coffees to! Easy to get to from Perth or even down south.
Beautiful beach close to penguin Island Cafe, toilet and shower.
Beautiful place with many tiny islands with the largest one being the Penguins island. Dolphins, sea lions and pelicans can be easily spotted. More difficult to spot penguins since there are only around 130 left on the Penguins island (and during the hot season since they hide from the sun when it is hot).
We did the sealion and dolphins cruise and it was one of the best experiences in wa. Penguins, sealions, dolphins, birds, stunning sights, it was a really incredible day.
We were blessed to take our granddaughter to the beach and we were surprised to see a mom and baby dolphin cavorting in the grass line just meters from shore. Mom was catching what looked like King George whiting and tossing it in the air …
Haven't been since I was a kid, nice spot but got windy quickly which stirred up a small swell. Didn't get to cross the sandbar this time but we will go again a bit earlier next time. Watch out for blue swimmer 🦀 , the like to taste your toes. …
This area is simply beauitful.
So many birds.... like horror movie number of birds. …
Unfortunately, I can’t arrive the Penguin Island, but u can look the island from the opposite beach. The beach is really beautiful and water is clear.
An absolute Gem near Rockingham. This area is so accessible and has so much to discover. We did a kayaking day with Rivergods kayak tours. We went out to Penguin Island then right across to Seal Island. The wildlife was amazing. The scenery just beautiful around these islands. Highly recommend a day trip to the area.
The ferry can get a bit cramped, but the experience is truly worth it!
Beautiful array of wild life, perfect weather during our visit, and the resident penguins are quite the little performers during feeding time!
